Improve your writing

One of my favourite bloggers is none other than Wil Wheaton, the child actor from the hit movie Stand by me and popular TV series Star Trek the Next Generation (Wesley Crusher).

I also purchased and read his book "Just a Geek".  I really enjoyed reading this book and it is quite clear that Wil is a very strong writer.

In his book, Wil reflects how his writing skills evolved to a more professional writing level.  For some reason, this comment really stuck with me.  In fact, because he emphasized this, it has become one of the main reasons I blog.

I still have much to learn, but I'll eventually get there.  There are great resources online from which to learn such as the 6 rules for effective writing which recently came across my radar.

In the meantime, if I do need professional writing, there are services out there who do this such as Get it Write Online
