Removing the SAS Enhanced Editor “Command===>”

In the Enhanced Editor, I always have a Command Line utility at the
top. It says

    Command ===>

and I can type stuff after it.

What’s worse is that whenever I type, I use the “home” key to get the cursor at the begining of my line. But with the Command feature, the Home key jumps the cursor there.

I never use this feature so I turn it off permanently. With the Enhanced Editor active, go to Tools>Options>Preferences,
click the View tab, then uncheck Command Line.

Enjoy!
