Edmonton SAS User Group

I went to my first ever SAS User Group in Edmonton today.  I enjoyed it.  At the meeting we were given some juicy information that SAS is looking into having a Canadian version of the SAS Global Forum.  These conferences are usally held in the US rather than in Canada.  They said they'd like to offer it in Canada but there are no places other than Niagra Falls with a venue and airport large enough to handle 4000+ people.  Yikes, that's big.

Another attendee of today's meeting requested more SAS courses in Edmonton.  In response to that a second attendee pointed out that he was aware of courses offered but only 2 or 3 people show up.  I think this could be resolved with better communication to Canadian SAS users.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to a stronger SAS presence in Canada.
