Me must be smart
A recent study of reveals increased brain power with internet use for those with prior internet experience.
"The volunteers in the study were composed of two groups, half were experienced Internet users and the others were not.I've been using the internet for a long time now so I've earned the Homer Simpson quote when he sang "I am so smart. I am so smart. S-M-R-T, I mean S-M-A-R-T, I am so smart."
All the study participants showed increased brain activity while reading a book, but Internet searches revealed a difference between the two groups. Those who were Internet savvy registered more brain activity, while those new to the Internet did not."
